Weekend Spiritual Activities Include Vespers, Church, Inreach
Spiritual weekend events will include vespers, afterglow, Sabbath School, church, inreach and evensong.
Friday night worship will begin at 8 p.m. at the outdoor amphitheater in the center of campus. Dress is “vespers casual” and seating is on the ground. Afterglow will follow in the same location and refreshments will be served.
Lifehouse Sabbath School will begin at 10:30 a.m. in Evans Hall. The theme is Be the Light! Fellowship and refreshments are scheduled for 10 a.m.
This Sabbath is Southwestern Sabbath at the Keene SDA Church. Pastor Russ Laughlin will follow the topic Lightswitch Christianity. The two services are at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Sabbath afternoon, any students interested in going to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens should meet at the library steps and leave at 2:45 for inreach.
Evensong will close out the Sabbath at 7:30 p.m. hosted by the Willis family, with musical selections by music department students. Evensong will be held in the Keene SDA Church Sanctuary.
