Spring Week of Prayer Is Feb. 23-27
The spring Student Week of Prayer is scheduled for Feb. 23-27 with the theme “Pause Don’t Force It! Let God Fill the Holes.” Students from Southwestern Adventist University’s Homiletics class will serve as speakers for this semester’s Week of Prayer.
As first speaker on Monday, Eddie Michaels will share “Us Against the World: Part 1.” Michaels will give Part 2 that evening at 7. Arturo Quintero’s message on Tuesday is: “Jesus Is Passing By.” On Wednesday, T.J. Sands will talk about: “The Most Powerful Stain Remover.” On Thursday, Dominick Alipoon will speak on: “It’s Not Always Perfect in Paradise.” Michael Gibson will finish off the Week of Prayer on Friday with his sermon “Concrete and the Gospel.”
Meetings will follow the tradition of being at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, and Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. On Tuesday and Thursday they are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 7.p.m. The Week of Prayer will be held in the Keene SDA Church sanctuary. To make time for the morning meetings, classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday will start earlier than usual.
