Southwestern Handshake Kicks Off School Year
University President Eric Anderson and Loretta Anderson, director of Hopps museum, are among the faculty and staff to greet students at 2012 Handshake for Southwestern Adventist University on Aug. 20. Students, faculty and staff were invited to enjoy vegetarian barbeque and carnival style games, including a mechanical bull, inflatable balloon races and a dunking booth that sent President Anderson and others swimming. Classes began this morning, Aug. 21 at 7:30 a.m.
