The Journey To Host Fall Sharathon

883thejourney88.3 KJRN The Journey will hold their biannual three-day Sharathon fund raiser Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.

With the guidance of Mike Agee, general manager, and new programming ideas from Danae Dolinsky-Songy, program director, The Journey has grown from 35,000 to 95,000 listeners in the past year.  And the more listeners The Journey has, the bigger budget it needs to serve its community, which is why they have set this Sharathon’s goal at $150,000.  These funds raised will go to towards replacing an five-year-old automation system and the construction of a new, taller antenna that can provide a stronger signal to the station’s listening area and serve more listeners.

“We are very excited by how this is all coming together,” says Agee. “Danae has been doing a great job here at The Journey and its great to see how God has led us through these five years.”
