Students Needed to Conduct Bible Studies

Students that are committed to Christ, and are committed to finishing the work he has asked us to do here on earth, have the opportunity to give Bible studies in Keene.

On the first Saturday of each month, Southwestern student outreach has been going door-to-door in the Keene community.  During these visits, 40 people have shown interest in Bible studies.  Southwestern is looking for students to fill this need. The students would have to be committed, and consistent with visiting the people they study with.   Students will go in pairs, and there will be a support group that will keep those students in their prayers.

Angie Boothby, student chaplain, says, “This is an awesome opportunity to grow in faith and answer the call that God has asked of all Christians.”

In Education, pg. 271, Ellen G. White says, “With such an army of workers as our youth, rightly trained, might furnish, how soon the message of a crucified, risen, and soon-coming Savior might be carried to the whole world! How soon might the end come-the end of suffering and sorrow and sin!”

Students that would like to be involved should visit Boothby in the spiritual life office, email her at boothbyad@swau.edu, or come to the rotunda at 3 p.m. this Saturday.
