Southwestern Adventist University recently named Licci Zemleduch as its new director of alumni relations, replacing Bev Mendenhall, who recently retired from the position.

“We looked at a lot of candidates for the position, but what really sold us on Zemleduch was her background,” says Tiffany Hernandez, interim vice president for advancement. “She brings a lot of experience to our team and I know she will thrive in the alumni program we have at Southwestern.”

Zemleduch brings experience as an art director and graphic designer in the Southern Union and communication professor at Montemorelos University. Zemleduch has a B.A. in visual communication and is completing her masters in marketing.

“I’m very excited to be joining Southwestern as director of alumni relations,” says Zemleduch. “We have a big challenge in front of us of reaching out to our younger alumni. Even if they graduated just last year, they are still alumni. It will be exciting to use the experience I’ve acquired to accomplish this goal we have set out to achieve.”
