Mimosa Is Here!

Southwestern Adventist University will hold their annual spring banquet known as Mimosa at the Villagio Resorts in Burleson this Sunday evening.

Donte Brooks

Donte Brooks, student association social vice president, and Tanya Soria, SA public relations director, have worked for months to make this night possible. Brooks has dedicated much of his time to planning the biggest student association event of the year. Soria not only joined Brooks in planning it but promoted the event as well.

Tanya Soria

This will be the first year where the main focus is more than just the food. Brooks has planned a night of entertainment and activities. There will be a live band and a caricature artist at the venue. These activities will make Mimosa a more social event where the student body can mingle.

Over previous years, students have expressed their opinions, both negative and positive, of Mimosa. To make Mimosa a more positively memorable night for the school, Soria and Brooks have taken the students input into consideration.

After receiving input from the student body, Soria and Brooks are confident they have found a way to make it a night to remember while maintaining an appropriate Christian environment.

Mimosa will be held at the beautiful Bellagio Resorts in Burleson.
