Fall Calls for New Fashion on Campus

Although it may not look it yet, fall is here on the Southwestern campus.

Although it may not look it yet, fall is here on the Southwestern campus.

Fall season is the time when you can layer clothes without melting in them, and even walk outside with a light jacket without freezing. Fall is definitely an all-around season for fashion. This fall will surely be shortest season of all, as it took a long time to finally arrive.

As morning classes start, all you see is students with their backpacks rushing from one end of campus to the other dressed in their chunky jackets. Girls tend to appreciate the fall season more as they dress in their cute jackets or sweatshirts, and some of them with colorful scarves that change their entire look, not forgetting the UGG Boots that are not very appealing to the eye, but feel very comfortable.

Students should now consider changing their wardrobe for warmer clothes, to avoid any kind of flu that may strike on campus spontaneously in following weeks.

Most students complain that there are no cheap clothes around stores. As college students who are trying to pay school bills, there is no such thing as shopping anytime soon. Students need to learn to hunt and when it comes to shopping, there are prices for everyone. A low outfit budget allows student to have fun with clothes and explore the new trends around campus. So if fall for you is on a tight budget, stores such as H&M, Forever 21, Aeropostale offer trendy affordable prices with as much as 70% off clothes.

“Fall is a great season to make ourselves look presentable despite the budget we may have,” says Andrea Francisco, sophomore business finance major.
