Blood Drive Scheduled For Tuesday

Carter BloodCare is coming to Southwestern Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The blood drive will take place in Meadows Gallery in  the Chan Shun Centennial Library.

“People should give blood because it can potentially save a life,” says Jonny Wilczynski, junior business marketing major at Southwestern. “Honestly, it was a little unpleasant at first, but I felt like I gave back to society so it was worth it.”

“I’ve given blood several times,” says Jarred Rhodes, junior biology major. “It’s pretty fun actually. They stick a big needle up your arm and then you just chill. Plus you’re saving someone’s life! What better reason is there to give blood than that?”

Contact James The, vice president for student services, for more information. His office number is (817) 202-6719.
