Fall Semester Registration In Progress
Students are encouraged to take time this week to pre-register for the fall semester. They should meet with their advisors and make plans for their new class schedule.
Pre-registration is important to Southwestern because it gives the school an idea of what to expect in the new semester. It’s important for students to pre-register because the earlier registration is complete, the easier it will be to work out any possible changes and be prepared for fall.
As Dr. Ben McArthur, vice president for academic administration, said in a previous story, “Registration is about more than just picking classes for the spring semester. It’s about keeping students on track with their college careers. That way they can see where they stand, and think about what is going on in their future.”
Students should also remember that once they have their classes picked out, they should look into buying their books online at the campus bookstore, or at any place that sells textbooks. This way they can be sure to have their books in time when school starts.
