A Capella Group “Committed” to Perform in Arlington

Committed got their start in 2003 and have continued to sing ever since.

Committed, an all-male a capella group, is scheduled to perform Saturday, April 21, 7 p.m. at the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.  The concert will be a part of an all-day Young Adult Festival of Worship.

General admission tickets, ages 17-34, are $5 and ages 35 and up, as well as 16 and under, are $8.  Tickets are available online at http://www.itickets.com/events/283533.html.

The group Committed got its start in 2003 with four high school students at Forest Lake Academy.  They stuck together as they graduated and attended Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama, picking up a few more members along the way.  Committed took first place in NBC’s “The Sing-Off” season two.  During the end of last summer, 2011, they released their first album; it was self-titled.

Arlington Adventist Church’s Younger Generation Worship Band will host an opening concert before Committed performs.  More information at http://www.YGchurch.com/committed2CHRIST.
