Weekend Activities Highlight Christmas Hope

"Our Christmas Hope" will feature drama, readings, and music about the hope that Jesus Christ offers to all.
A special Christmas themed vespers is planned for this Friday night. “Our Christmas Hope” will feature drama, readings, and music that’s all based around our Hope, Jesus Christ.
Vespers will be held in Evans Hall at 8 p.m. Following vespers, there will be a Christmas tree and candle lighting ceremony at the rotunda. Refreshments will be served in the student center.
The following day, “Southwestern Sabbath” is scheduled. It’s a church service targeted towards the young and the young at heart. Beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Evans hall, Steve Stafford will deliver a message entitled “Just As I Am.”
Other Saturday activities include a potluck in the Keene Church Fellowship Hall at 1 p.m., door-to-door outreach at 2:45 p.m. by the Chan Shun Centennial Library, and Evensong worship in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church at 5 p.m.
