Play Written by Alumni Showcases God’s Love
“The Love of the Guardian” is a dramatic, two-part, allegorical production that showcases the love of Christ. It was performed this summer at Nameless Valley Ranch summer camp, and is third in a series of similarly themed productions. This weekend, it will be performed at the Burleson Methodist Church at 590 N. E. McAlister Road in Burleson.
Southwestern alumni Jonathon Coker and Devin Anavitarte, co-writers, directors, and producers of the play, would like to invite the community to “come and encounter the powerful transformation of God’s love.”
“The Love of the Guardian” is fitting for all ages, and there is no charge for admission, although a love offering will be collected. The first part will show on November 18, at 7 p.m. Part two will be presented on November 19, at 3 p.m. For more information, call the Burleson Methodist Church at (817) 295-1166.
