Election Speeches Set for Tonight

Election speeches will be held tonight at 7 in Evans Auditorium. This is the chance for students to meet the new prospective SA officers for next year and hear what they have planned for next year.

Here is a list of the candidates that will be giving speeches tomorrow night: running for president are Emily Weber and Luisa Manu; running for vice president is Anna Semakula. Austen Powell is the candidate for religious vice president, and social vice president candidates are the team of Sylvia Melissa Vasquez and Ella Nguyen, opposed by Francine Sedacy. Running for treasurer is Hien “Henry” Huynh, for Status editor is Makala Coleman, and Kimberly Bernhardt is running for secretary. Senator at large candidates are Elias Ortega and Brenna Sanchez.

After speeches are given, the current Student Association officers will serve refreshments for everyone, giving people a chance to talk with prospective candidates.
