SWAT Homeshow Slated for Saturday Night
Southwestern Adventist University’s acrobatic team will be hosting its annual homeshow, Saturday, April 23, at 8:30 pm. Southwestern’s acrobatic team also known as SWAT, will be performing its various acrobatic feats, which include jumping off various structures, climbing up satin ribbons, and performing several different types of flips through the air.
This year’s theme is called “It’s Time.” SWAT’s annual homeshow is a great opportunity for community residents and students to witness the talent of SWAT’s gymnasts and experience great performances that demonstrate the love of God.
“Homeshow is a great way for Southwestern to showcase its acrobatic talent to others while also being able to share his word through gymnastics,” says Michael Gibson, senior theology major and SWAT member. “It’s always a lot of fun for my teammates and I to perform in front of our fellow students and community.”
The homeshow is free of admission to anyone who wants to attend. The event will take place in the Leiske-Pultar Gymnasium of Southwestern Adventist University.
