Missions Week Scheduled for Nov. 8-13
Student Missions has announced that the week of Nov. 8 to 13 will be set aside as Missions Week at Southwestern Adventist University.
Monday, Nov. 8 will begin with Penny Wars. Students are encouraged to donate their pennies, nickels and dimes for future student missionaries. Tuesday will be International Day, with students invited to wear the colors of their countries. On Wednesday, Student Missions invites students to fill out a missions questionnaire, with the first 10 people to finish the questionnaire rewarded with a prize.
At assembly on Thursday, Nov. 11, students will represent their countries on stage with the display ending with all kneeling in front of the cross. A community project is planned for Friday. Students are invited to sign up for a variety of options.
The week ends on Saturday, Nov. 13 with an international fair in the lobby of Chan Shun Centennial Library.
