Wilcox Leads Out In Four-Week Series

Karl Wilcox

Karl Wilcox will present a four- week prayer meeting series entitled, “Genesis and the City: Culture, Technology, and the Problem of Human Progress.” The series begins Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Keene Seventh-day Church chapel.

Each presentation reviews an often-neglected aspect of the Genesis story in order to openly address the problem of how to live as a Christian in a secular age. Audience participation is encouraged, and a close reading of the text drives the content of this series.

This series was given by Wilcox at Oslo University in 2006 and in Amsterdam in 2007 as part of a general attempt to make the Bible a more powerful influence among Adventist university students in Europe.
