Inline Hockey Comes To Southwestern
He shoots, he scores. No this is not for soccer, but it’s for hockey. On Thursday nights Rod Bussey, associate professor of kinesiology, hosts hockey in the Leiske-Pultar Gymnasium. Any Southwestern student is welcome to play.
Although not quite like the Canadian pastime, inline hockey is close to the same thing, except that you play on different skates. Inline hockey is played on a hard surface, usually wood or concrete, with inline skates.
If you would like to play, contact Bussey at (817) 202-6600 or rbussey@swau.edu. Equipment is limited; students are required to bring their own inline skates.
