New Award Announced for Theology Majors
The Office of University Advancement is pleased to announce the creation of the Hico Seventh-day Adventist Church Student Award.
The Hico Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hico, Texas has established a new award at Southwestern Adventist University. This award recipient will be determined by the Department of Theology, and will provide a minimum of $1,000 per year to the student who meets the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled at Southwestern Adventist University
- An individual who is responding to a personal call to the ministry, as determined by faculty in the Department of Theology
- Is pursuing a major in Theology
- Is maintaining an overall GPA of at least 2.5
