Brigit Warner, a 2002 journalism graduate of Southwestern

Adventist University, edited the trivia questions for Brain Chain, a strategy-meets-trivia board game designed by an Adventist teacher, lawyer and youth pastor. Brain Chain was recently named one of the Top 100 board games in the world by Games Magazines.

As a student at SWAU, Warner was editor of Status magazine and worked as promotions director at 88.3 KJCR.

Warner’s responsibility with the game was to proofread more than 5,000 questions and answers, finally helping to determine the 3,200 best questions that were included in the final game.

“Brigit did an amazing job of catching even small spelling and grammatical errors as well as a few major factual blunders,” said Brain Games President Scot Blackburn. “She alerted us to many questions that had multiple correct answers and to others that simply were not informative or fun.” Blackburn is the grandson of C. C. Blackburn, who started the physical education department and taught at SWAU for 17 years.
