Meyerson concert scheduled for Feb. 21

  Southwestern Adventist University continues its tradition of quality musical performance with “A Night at the Meyerson,” an evening featuring inspiring and uplifting music. This year’s performance at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas is slated for Sunday, Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

 This year’s performance is a collaboration of more than 400 Southwestern Adventist University and high school student musicians and vocalists. It will include performances by Southwestern Music Professor John Boyd on the C. B. Fisk Organ, vocal and instrumental solos and choral and band ensembles. A performance favorite, the Festival Guitar, features more than 40 guitarists led by instructor Henry Welch.

“A Night at the Meyerson” is an opportunity for students to perform in a world-class environment as well as receive an education. Proceeds from ticket sales go toward music student scholarships. For ticket sales, contact the Office of University Advancement at 817-202-6231.
