Jorge Rico featured as speaker on ACM

Southwestern’s Jorge Rico, associate professor of religion, has recently become a featured speaker for American Christian Ministries through his Foundations of Biblical Doctrines seminar. The series presents the foundations for the early Christian church’s doctrines, and then proceeds through the doctrines’ distortion, historical deviation, and restoration. It is available through ACM’s website, www.americanchristianministries.org.
Rico‘s work at Southwestern permits him to enjoy what he calls “the best of two worlds” by allowing him to teach during the week and preach on weekends, traveling to present seminars to church members, lay leaders, and pastors in and outside of the United States.
He says has seen the Lord at work in people’s lives, both in the classroom and while conducting seminars, including student baptisms on campus as well as lives rendered to God in the mission field.
Rico also has a strong Spanish ministry, and has submitted Spanish sermons to ACM. He hopes to be able to minister widely to Spanish-speakers in this way, but also says he will continue to preach and teach as the Lord wills.
