SA Elections Set for Next Week

Student Association elections are being held next week. Students who are interested in holding an SA office next year are encouraged to run. Applications are available in the SA offices, in the women’s and men’s dormitories and in the library.

Assembly at 1 p.m. tomorrow will feature speeches by those running for Mizpah editor, Status editor, senator-at-large, secretary and treasurer. Those running for the remaining offices, including president, vice president, social vice president and religious vice president will speak on Monday at 7 p.m. in Wharton Auditorium.

Voting will take place through a web mail poll that will be sent to each Southwestern Adventist University e-mail address on Monday. Students and faculty have from 8 p.m. Monday until Wednesday noon to vote.

Those who intend to make their speeches tomorrow need to turn in their application to Chaplain Mattey’s office by 10 a.m. Thursday. Those making speeches on Monday need to turn in their application by 3 p.m. Monday.

Both Southwestern students and staff are members of the Student Association and are encouraged to attend and support this year’s elections.
