Student Week of Prayer at Southwestern Adventist University starts Monday, Jan. 30. Jeff Sickler, kinesiology major at Southwestern Adventist University, felt the call to be a PE teacher when he left behind distractions and focused on God. Sports had always been a pastime and never a job choice for Sickler. He now feels that God is calling him to teach, so he can help students be the best they can be. Learning names of muscles found in the human body may seem like a tiresome job. Several anatomy and physiology students at Southwestern have found a way that makes learning more interesting. Dr. Amy McHenry, assistant professor of biology, assigned an extra credit project to her students. They had to find a creative way to memorize muscles, and then present their project to the class.
